One of the major changes of this release is that installation on RHEL 7 is no longer supported. For new installs, just build a RHEL 8 server and install Satellite. For Satellite 6.11 servers running on RHEL 7, you’ll need to upgrade to RHEL 8 first by following Upgrading Satellite or Capsule 6.11 to Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 In-Place Using Leapp.
